Job Title: Diesel Motor Mechanic

About the Role:
  • Maintain and repair diesel-powered heavy vehicles, including 4WDs, trucks and armoured tanks.
  • Carry out routine maintenance tasks, such as technical inspection and classification.
  • Inspect and test electrical systems, including lighting and ignition.
  • Repair or replace worn or faulty parts by removing engines, transmissions and differentials.
  • Test and adjust repaired or replaced parts.
  • Conduct minor body repairs and trim repairs.
About You:
  • Cert III Heavy Vehicle Mechanic or equivalent level.
  • Demonstrated experience in inspecting, repairing and maintaining Light, Medium and Heavy vehicles.
  • A current Australian State or Territory class C Driver's License is required.
  • A Defence Security Clearance is mandatory.
