About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Project Control Director to head up our PMO and Project Controls team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing project delivery support to Programme teams and leading the regional PMO team members in delivering consistent ways of working across programmes and projects.
The Project Control Director will be a key member of the Regional Leadership Team and will work collaboratively with the Senior Management Team to contribute to the production of strategy, innovation, and sustainability business objectives.
The role will involve:
- Assessing current PMO capability and setting up project delivery frameworks to improve productivity and performance
- Working collaboratively with the Senior Management Team to ensure the optimum application of the region's resources to bids, projects, customer needs, and staff development
- Ensuring the region operates to and maintains the highest professional technical and project management standards
- Managing project risks associated with regional project delivery and the regional project portfolio
- Embedding PMO frameworks to manage processes like work at risk, contract change, change resolution, project contingency, project purchasing, project profitability, and project cash
- Building a culture within the regional PMO function that models effective behavior, celebrates success, and drives continuous improvement
The successful candidate will have:
- Certification with a professional Project Management body
