About the Role:

  • As a Disability Support Worker, you will be working closely with clients requiring 24/7 care, providing support with daily living tasks such as meal preparation, laundry, and personal care.
  • You will also be responsible for supervising personal care tasks and providing verbal prompting as needed.
  • Access to allied health support including OT, Psychology, and Social Work is essential in this role.
  • You will assist clients with medication administration, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.

This role requires a minimum of Cert 4 in Disability or Cert 3 in Community Services, and provision of PI/PL Insurance Cover.

Licenses/Certifications/Qualifications:

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Australian driver's license
  • First Aid & CPR certification (regularly updated)
  • National Police Check (completed within the last 12 months)
  • Cert III or IV in Disability Support
  • Work Authorisation in Australia
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module
  • Medication Assistance Certificate
  • COVID-19 vaccinated
  • Infection Prevention and Control Certificate (can assist in obtaining one if required)
