About the Role

Aurecon is seeking proactive Project Managers to join our expanding national team. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead and manage complex infrastructure projects across various sectors.

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering projects from concept through to handover, managing scope, risk, financials, and reporting. You will also oversee multiple concurrent projects across the full lifecycle, collaborating with Regional Leads and Program Directors to report on project progress and milestones.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage both design and construction schedules, ensuring alignment with client expectations, timelines, and specifications
  • Deliver projects efficiently, effectively managing scope, risk, financials, and reporting
  • Oversee multiple concurrent projects, assessing contractor documentation, including payment and variation claims, and extensions of time (EoTs)
Requirements

We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds who can demonstrate strong project management experience and a passion for infrastructure development.

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a project management role
  • Experience working across complex stakeholder environments and managing competing priorities
  • Strong documentation, report writing, and presentation skills
  • The ability to assess contractor documentation and interpret design documentation
  • Qualifications in project management, construction management, engineering, or a related field
