Key Responsibilities
- Operate assigned transportation assets in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to regulatory guidelines.
- Provide a safe and dynamic experience for customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
- Utilize material handling equipment safely and consistently, maintaining a high level of productivity.
- Prepare loads for transportation, adhering to regulatory guidelines and ensuring compliance with all site environmental health and safety requirements.
- Conduct pre-inspections of vehicles to ensure they are roadworthy, reporting any faults to the transport supervisor and performing basic maintenance tasks.
- Maintain all necessary licenses and endorsements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Ensure vehicles are clean and presentable, reflecting positively on the company.
- Perform other reasonable duties as requested by team members.
Requirements
- Experience in logistics and transport operations, including warehouse management.
Tickets and Licenses
- Driver's License HR with 'H' minimum.
- Forklift Permit.
- Current Driver's License.
Experience
- 6 months of experience in the logistics industry.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 25 kg independently.
