Sustainability Leadership Opportunity

Develop and drive the Environmental, Social, and Governance strategy for a leading provider of on-campus accommodation.

  • Embed a culture of sustainability throughout the organisation by engaging employees and stakeholders in sustainability initiatives.
  • Analyse and report on portfolio carbon footprint, including determining and managing measurement and reporting platforms.
  • Lead First Nations reconciliation activities and assess environmental, social, and governance risks and impact of potential projects.

About You:

  • You have experience in a sustainability role within the Property, Banking, Education, Government, or Energy sector.
  • You bring proven background experience developing, implementing, and managing ESG strategy and plans.
  • You are able to provide material ESG input to the future organic and inorganic pipelines.
  • You have strong problem-solving and project management skills, and are eager to help drive and embed a culture of sustainability throughout the organisation.

Key Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and previous experience in ESG.
  • 10+ years' experience working in the Property, Banking, Education, Major Infrastructure or Energy sectors, ideally in another sustainability/ESG role.
  • Awareness of carbon reporting and accounting would be desirable.
  • Excellent understanding and experience of the environmental 'pillar' within ESG, and ability to translate into effective operations/operational initiatives.
  • Evidence of delivering sustainability initiatives and engaging positively with multiple stakeholders.
