Remote Dialysis Nursing Opportunity

We are seeking experienced Dialysis Nurses to provide dialysis treatment to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in remote communities across the Northern Territory.

This is a unique opportunity for healthcare professionals to deliver culturally safe, high-quality care in collaboration with Aboriginal Health Practitioners, General Practitioners, nurses, and support staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver culturally sensitive dialysis treatment on-site in remote clinics, contributing to healthcare services in remote NT communities.
  • Collaborate with local healthcare teams to develop patient-centred care plans.
Requirements
  • Qualification/s and minimum 2 years of haemodialysis nursing experience.
  • Current AHPRA registration.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
  • Current National Criminal History Check (less than 6 months old).
  • Unrestricted driver's license (to drive in the NT).
  • Up-to-date immunisation status, including COVID-19 (2 doses + 1 booster), Hepatitis A & B, MMR, Varicella, BCG, Influenza, and Pertussis.
