Delivering Excellence in Cloud Solutions

The Delivery Lead is a key role within our tribe, responsible for the successful end-to-end delivery of cloud programs. This includes technical design, development, testing, and deployment.

The primary focus of this role is to lead the delivery of key programs in the public cloud space, working with IT Area Leads, Tribe Leaders, Product Owners, Architects, squads, and external vendors to deliver high-quality solutions on time, within scope, and budget.

This role also involves managing workloads within squads, in consultation with stakeholders across different tribes, meeting squad KPIs (together with the squad) and deciding on key priorities. The Delivery Lead contributes to improving squads' ways of working and team performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead technical cloud solutions functions, collaborating cross-functionally with engineers in business Tribes to ensure solution delivery.
  • Work in a cross-functional team leading end-to-end cloud solutions, collaborating cross-functionally with engineers in business Tribes.
  • Orchestrate change portfolios from a technical standpoint, ensuring strategic alignment and executional certainty, and adherence to transformation methodologies to deliver transformational change for the business.
  • Deliver key programs in the public cloud space, working with IT Area Leads, Tribe Leaders, Product Owners, Architects, squads, and external vendors to deliver high-quality solutions on time, within scope, and budget.
  • Participate in standard scrum events for the squad, including stand-ups, refinements, reviews, and retrospectives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Deep knowledge of public cloud architecture, with at least 4 years of experience.
  • Strong analytical skills are required, as understanding complex back-office processes is essential.
  • Experience working with Agile delivery, DevOps as a way of working.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing timely delivery of complex projects with teams spread across geographical locations.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience working in Financial Services (preferably Retail Banking) is ideal.
