Senior Inventory Manager

This role involves overseeing and optimising inventory levels to ensure seamless operations across the business. You will develop and enforce best practices in stock counts, audits, and reconciliation while driving stock optimisation, clearance strategies, and volume/article projections.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and coordinate weekly stock reconciliations between systems.
  • Track current inventory levels and align booked stock at distribution centres against purchase orders.
  • Monitor cycle count reports, investigate discrepancies, and ensure timely resolution.
  • Manage regular stock adjustments and inventory movements to correct locations.
  • Deliver stock snapshot analyses and discrepancy fixes.
  • Support Finance during internal and external inventory audits.
  • Monitor Reverse Logistics inventory, including returns from stores, wholesale customers, and store-to-store transfers.
Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of Warehousing and Distribution operations.
  • Expertise in goods flow from DC to customers/consumers and reverse logistics.
  • Solid background in Inventory Management and analysis.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills with ability to meet deadlines.
  • Analytical mindset with willingness to challenge the status quo.
  • Strong communication skills, able to collaborate across functions.
Qualifications:
  • Degree in Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Post-graduate qualifications in Supply Chain Management and/or Project Management preferred.
  • 5+ years' experience in Inventory Control within Supply Chain and Retail Operations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, ERP/SAP, and WMS.
  • Skilled in communication, presentation, and problem solving.
