Primary Objective:

As a Renewable Energy Project Lead, you will oversee the design, engineering, construction, and commissioning of large-scale solar and BESS systems.

You will contribute to the development of project reports, proposals, and presentations, and report directly to the Principal Engineer.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead project implementation, collaborating with the Project Manager to ensure precision, quality, and adherence to schedules.
  • Drive business development initiatives, engaging with clients and stakeholders to fortify our position as industry leaders.
  • Oversee the development and scrutiny of energy production simulation models, project schedules, cost estimations, and supplier quotes.
  • Determine, implement, and monitor engineering strategies, policies, and plans.
  • Interpret plans, drawings, and specifications, providing advice on engineering methods and procedures.
  • Establish project schedules and budgets, ensuring conformity with specifications and plans.
  • Ensure engineering standards of quality, cost, safety, timeliness, and performance are observed.
  • Oversee maintenance requirements to optimize efficiency.
  • Liaise with marketing, research, and manufacturing managers regarding engineering aspects of new construction and product design.
  • Contribute to research and development projects.
  • Provide insightful recommendations for continuous enhancements in project designs, plans, processes, and product development.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor of Engineering Degree
  • Over 2 years of progressive experience as an engineer in the C&I or Utility solar industry.
  • Proven track record of managing projects from initial design to installation and execution.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Highly effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Resilience and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable:

  • Solar experience is an advantage but not essential.
