About the Role

Liebherr Australia is seeking a skilled Workshop Technician to join our team at our Erskine Park Branch. As a key member of our workshop team, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and diagnostics of our heavy equipment fleet, including wheel loaders, material handlers, and excavators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical diagnoses to identify and rectify issues
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs, including component replacements and fabrication
  • Complete detailed service reports to ensure accurate documentation
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to provide exceptional service
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient workflow and meet deadlines

About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual with a strong background in heavy equipment maintenance and repair. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A relevant qualification and at least 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • A current driver's license and willingness to obtain additional certifications (e.g. forklift, W, T, R, and air conditioning)
  • A commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment
