Workshop Team Lead

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Workshop Leading Hand to join our team at Liebherr-Australia Pty. Ltd. in Erskine Park. As a key member of our workshop team, you will be responsible for leading a team of technicians to deliver exceptional service and maintenance to our internal and external customers.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of technicians to achieve service excellence and meet customer expectations.
- Oversee the efficient completion of maintenance and service work, ensuring high-quality results.
- Provide guidance and advice to apprentices, technicians, and customers as required, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Ensure quality control for all work completed in the workshop, adhering to Liebherr's high standards.
- Manage and complete paperwork for service and repair work, maintaining accurate records.
- Supervise the day-to-day activities of workshop personnel, optimizing labor utilization and ensuring effective use of resources.
- Hold trade qualifications as a Diesel/Plant Mechanic, with a strong understanding of heavy equipment maintenance and repair.
- Proven experience in leading and managing productive teams, with a focus on customer satisfaction and service excellence.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders.
- A current driver's license, with a strong commitment to safety and adherence to workplace guidelines.
