Procurement Leadership Role

The primary objective of this position is to spearhead the development and execution of strategic sourcing initiatives across various categories.

This involves driving cost savings, quality enhancements, efficiency improvements, and value addition through the effective implementation of sourcing strategies that align with the organisation's long-term objectives.

  • Develop and execute end-to-end sourcing strategies that meet the organisation's requirements.
  • Execute formal requests for proposal (RFPs), evaluate bids, and present award recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for supplier consolidation and strategic spend management.
Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to drive business growth.
  • Monitor supplier performance, resolve issues, and foster long-term partnerships that support business objectives.
  • Analyse complex procurement data to identify trends, forecast demand, and generate actionable insights.
  • Lead negotiations to secure favourable terms while minimising risk.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
  • At least 10 years' experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management.
  • Proven ability to lead complex sourcing initiatives and global supplier engagements.
