Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled individual to fill a Grants Assessment Officer role within our Community Recovery Programs Branch.

About the Position:

This is a full-time, temporary opportunity available up to June 2026. The selected candidate will be based in Parramatta or Lismore, with other locations considered by exception and flexible work options and hybrid arrangements available.

About You:

  • You have a strong understanding of governance and compliance in grants management.
  • You possess excellent communication skills for liaising with applicants and internal stakeholders.
  • You can contribute to process improvement.
  • You have strong writing skills for preparing reports, correspondence, and briefing notes.

Essential Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications and/or relevant experience in grants administration or program coordination.

About Our Organisation:

We are a statutory corporation and executive agency of the Premier's Department. Our mission is to improve how NSW plans for disasters and ensure that we recover from them faster.

To reduce the severity and impacts of disasters, we will complete critical planning and preparation with communities, businesses, and government. When disaster does strike, we will get recovery started swiftly and coordinate reconstruction efforts across agencies, communities, and other stakeholders.
