Early Childhood Educator Trainee

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our centre as an Early Childhood Educator Trainee.

You will play a vital role in giving children the best possible start to their school journey, working closely with our experienced team to provide high-quality care and education.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their skills and knowledge in early childhood education and care, while making a positive impact on the lives of young children and their families.

  • Maintain a safe and inclusive environment for children, families and colleagues
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of educational programs that promote learning and development
  • Build strong relationships with children, families and colleagues to ensure a sense of belonging and community
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in early childhood education and care
  • Support a culture of continuous improvement and reflection in practice

To be eligible for this traineeship, you must not hold a previous Certificate or Diploma qualification completed outside of secondary school in the last 7 years. Applicants who have completed a school-based certificate other than in childcare will still be considered.

Must have:

  • A permanent right to work in Australia
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good time management and organisational skills
  • Ability to work well individually and as part of a team
  • Enthusiasm and a positive attitude
  • Flexible availability
  • Interest in early years education and care
  • Working with Children Check (or be willing to obtain one)
  • Proof of immunisation against Measles, Mumps and Rubella & Whooping Cough (Pertussis) or willing to obtain
