English Teaching Opportunity

A challenging and rewarding opportunity has arisen for a qualified Senior English Educator to deliver high-quality education to students in years 11-12 who are on an alternative path of learning to VCE.

About the Role:

The successful applicant will be responsible for designing and developing lesson plans, assignments, and assessments aligned with the English curriculum, including VCE Literature requirements. They will also be expected to deliver effective and engaging instruction to students in English language and literature, including literary analysis, writing skills, grammar, vocabulary, and critical thinking.

  • Design and develop lesson plans, assignments, and assessments aligned with the English curriculum, including VCE Literature requirements.

  • Provide instruction and feedback on writing skills, including essay writing, creative writing, and analytical writing.
  • Assist students in preparing for VCE Literature exams, including the development of exam strategies, practice exams, and review sessions.
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Completed relevant qualifications in Education.
  • Maintain a valid and up-to-date VIT registration.
  • Have unrestricted working rights in Australia.
  • Demonstrate previous experience in teaching VCE English/Literature.
