Technical Test Lead

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality technology solutions that make a real impact.

This role will see you leading technical testing activities across complex systems, working closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure applications meet business requirements and exceed user expectations.

  • Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive test suites across frontend and backend components, aligned with Agile practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement effective testing strategies, ensuring seamless integration of new tools and frameworks.
  • Develop and maintain detailed test documentation including plans, cases, scenarios, and automated playbooks for both functional and non-functional testing.
  • Analyse results, identify defects, and support developers in timely resolution, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products.
  • Enhance automation frameworks, integrate new tools, and improve efficiency and coverage, driving continuous improvement in testing processes.
  • Manage issues and defects through identification, resolution, and closure, fostering a culture of quality and excellence.
  • Build strong working relationships across teams to ensure project success, driving collaboration and effective communication.

Technical Skills & Experience:

  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, Java, and JavaScript, with experience in developing and maintaining robust software applications.
  • Hands-on experience with automation frameworks such as Cucumber, Selenium, Appium, and Playwright, with expertise in leveraging these tools to drive efficient testing.
  • Strong knowledge of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps), with experience in implementing and maintaining these practices in fast-paced environments.
  • Experience with system, integration, regression, and UAT testing in complex environments, with expertise in identifying and resolving defects efficiently.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Postman, JMeter, REST Assured, Swagger, and test management systems including JIRA and Azure Test Plans, with experience in integrating these tools into testing processes.
  • High-level analytical and problem-solving skills, with proven ability to evaluate testing requirements in complex ICT environments and develop effective solutions.
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills, with experience in identifying and resolving complex technical issues.

Highly Desirable:

  • 3–6 years' experience in software testing with a focus on integration and API testing, with expertise in developing and maintaining complex testing frameworks.
  • Solid understanding of ICT systems, including infrastructure, networks, and databases, with experience in designing and implementing secure and efficient systems.
  • Familiarity with application lifecycle management and system integration, with experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products.
