About the Role

This is a permanent, full-time or part-time (job share) opportunity based in Perth CBD. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of instrumentation and controls designers, providing technical expertise and guidance to ensure the successful delivery of the contract.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of instrumentation and controls designers to deliver high-quality designs and solutions
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks and industry standards
  • Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure long-term partnerships
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to ensure the team is equipped with the latest knowledge and skills
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 15+ years of relevant design engineering experience in the Oil and Gas production and/or processing industries
  • Proven experience working in a similar Lead Instrument/Principal Instrument Design role
  • Expertise in instrument and controls design, with knowledge of advanced principles and techniques
  • Leadership and supervisory experience, with the ability to engender an entrepreneurial spirit and drive optimal performance
  • Commercial acumen, with the ability to manage risk and deliver solutions that meet technical, safety, and commercial requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders
