About the RoleAs CEO, you will report to the Board of Directors and be accountable for the day-to-day management of recycling contracts and associated services. Your key responsibilities include providing strategic advice to the Board, negotiating service contracts, building strong relationships with councils and stakeholders, ensuring effective governance and financial performance, and driving innovation and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the delivery of sustainable recycling services
- Manage complex service contracts and stakeholder relationships
- Provide high-level policy, operational and strategic advice to the Board
- Negotiate and manage service contracts
- Build strong relationships with councils and stakeholders
- Ensure effective governance and financial performance
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement
We are seeking an empowering leader with strong commercial acumen and proven experience in managing complex service contracts and stakeholder relationships. Essential qualifications include tertiary qualifications in management, business or a related field, demonstrated experience in contract negotiation and management, strong stakeholder engagement, influencing and communication skills, strategic and operational leadership experience in a service-based environment, and financial and business management capability.
