About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Habit Coach to join our team in Northern Brisbane. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities to develop and maintain positive habits, leading to greater independence and improved quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support participants in Northern Brisbane and surrounding areas, working at their homes or community locations as required.
  • Implement therapy plans provided by primary therapists, adapting to the unique needs and goals of each individual.
  • Assist participants in developing and maintaining habits related to daily living, social engagement, and physical health.
  • Maintain accurate records of participant progress and submit regular reports to primary therapists.
Requirements
  • Currently studying a university degree in Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, or Physiotherapy (minimum 2nd year).
  • Alternatively, hold a Certificate 3 or 4 in Allied Health Assistance or an equivalent qualification, with demonstrated experience in a similar role.
  • Consistent and ongoing availability to work, including flexibility to support participants during afternoon routines.
  • Valid Australian driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check and Working with Children's Check.
