About the Role

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting daily operations and managing programs that promote community, leadership, and social skills in children.

  • Develop engaging programs that foster creativity, teamwork, and self-expression among young participants.
  • Manage day-to-day program operations, including staff supervision and policy compliance.
  • Provide administrative support, such as documentation and communication with families and the school community.

Requirements

  • A relevant qualification in childcare or teaching (minimum Diploma in Children's Services), either completed or actively pursuing.
  • Experience in programming and a passion for delivering high-quality childcare services.
  • Background in administration and documentation in an OSHC setting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • First Aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
  • A valid Blue Card (Suitability to Work with Children and Young People) or willingness to obtain.
  • Knowledge of NQF is advantageous.

Your Workspace at the Y

The YMCA Yugumbir OSHC is located at Yugumbir State School in Regents Park. Our service is licensed for 150 children daily, operating from 6am to 9am and 3pm to 6pm during school terms, and from 6am to 6pm during school holidays.
