Ambulance Transport Attendant Position Overview
This role involves transporting patients in a timely and safe manner, providing high-quality patient care, and adhering to clinical and operational policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Primary care and clinical monitoring for low and medium acuity cases;
- Providing clinical handovers for all transfers;
- Delivering patient care in a timely, safe, and efficient manner;
- Complying with clinical and operational policies and procedures;
- Excellent customer service;
- Safely driving patient transport vehicles in accordance with road laws.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor of Paramedical Science, Bachelor Nursing, or Diploma of Emergency Health Care;
- 400 on-road clinical hours as an ATA;
- Current Full Driver's licence and good driving record;
- Current National Police Check and Working with Children Check;
- Ability to work professionally as part of a team with effective communication and interpersonal skills.
