Ambulance Transport Attendant Position

We are currently seeking Ambulance Transport Attendants to join our team. As an Ambulance Transport Attendant, you will be responsible for providing patient care and transport services across Victoria.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in paramedicine or nursing, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a current full drivers licence and good driving record.

Responsibilities of this role include primary care and clinical monitoring of patients, provision of clinical handovers for all transfers, and delivery of high-quality patient care in a timely, safe, and efficient manner.

Additionally, the successful candidate will be required to comply with clinical and operational policies and procedures as specified in patient transport regulations and protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide primary care and clinical monitoring for patients
  • Provision of clinical handovers for all transfers
  • Delivery of high-quality patient care in a timely, safe, and efficient manner
  • Compliance with clinical and operational policies and procedures
  • Safe driving of patient transport vehicles

Requirements:

  • Diploma of Emergency Health Care or equivalent qualification
  • 400 on-road clinical hours
  • Current full drivers licence and good driving record
  • Current National Police Check and Working with Children Check
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
