We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Scientist to join our team at St Vincent's Health Australia.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have expertise in nuclear medicine and be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, interpreting medical images, and collaborating with healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures using nuclear medicine techniques
  • Interpret medical images to diagnose and monitor diseases
  • Collaborate with radiologists, clinicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Postgraduate qualification in nuclear medicine or a related field
  • Registration with the relevant professional board (e.g. AHPRA)
  • Experience working in a clinical setting, preferably in nuclear medicine
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
