We are seeking a skilled Trade Assistant to join our residential installation teams.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in roofing and/or solar panel installation to develop their skills and contribute to delivering high-quality solutions for our customers.

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting end-to-end solar and battery system installations in a safe and compliant manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collection of stock from our warehouse and transporting it to site.
  • Reroofing preparation and maintenance.
  • Installation of components on site, including panels, inverters, batteries, cabling, roof racking and conduits.
  • Collaboration with our electricians and other team members to ensure proper wiring and electrical connections of solar panels.
  • System commissioning and quality inspections to confirm the integrity and functionality of the installed system.
  • Friendly and professional engagement with customers throughout the installation, particularly with support to set up their system and help them understand how to use it.
  • Maintaining a clean and organised work area with proper disposal of waste materials.
