About the Role

Deliver high-quality projects from inception to completion, leveraging expertise in subsea and offshore engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with project managers and lead engineers to execute work scopes and ensure seamless client communication.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and integrate them into projects, working closely with the engineering team.
  • Oversee the execution of work packages, ensuring delivery meets health, safety, environmental, quality, and commercial standards.
  • Lead and mentor project and graduate engineers through design review, constructability, hazard identification workshops, and offshore execution.
  • Manage subcontractors and equipment manufacturers, including documentation preparation and oversight of site integration tests and factory acceptance tests.

Requirements

Proven experience in subsea/offshore engineering and project delivery is essential. A bachelor's degree in mechanical, mechatronic, structural, or ocean engineering, or naval architecture, is required. Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Project is necessary, along with experience in specialist software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks. A full driver's license and ability to obtain an offshore survival course are also requirements. Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or a valid work visa are mandatory.
