Mercer is seeking a highly skilled Fund Implementation Senior Analyst to join our team in Sydney or Melbourne. As a key member of our investment operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient implementation of investment strategies for our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide support in improving implementation efficiency, reducing operational risk, and minimizing implementation leakage.
- Support the Fund Implementation Team with the successful implementation of portfolio management decisions, including asset allocation and investment manager changes.
- Manage the transaction lifecycle of private market investment strategies, including coordination of transaction documentation, pipeline management, deal funding, and liquidity planning.
- Coordinate daily portfolio exposure management activities, including asset allocation rebalancing, overlay portfolio monitoring, liquidity forecasting, and currency exposure monitoring.
- Work closely with investment operations to ensure the implementation pipeline is continuously updated and accurate.
- Ensure all implementation activities are well managed and communicated.
- Contribute to the establishment of a data infrastructure that provides centralized and high-quality data.
- Qualifications at a degree level in an analytical discipline such as finance, economics, or mathematics.
- 5-7 years of investment industry experience.
- Experience in portfolio construction for multi-manager portfolios.
- Understanding of different approaches to portfolio construction, including passive, active, factor, core, and high conviction.
- A sound knowledge of investment markets and asset classes.
