Nuclear Medicine Technologist Role

Our organization seeks a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to work with cutting-edge equipment and contribute to delivering exceptional patient care.

This is a challenging role that requires operating specialized nuclear medicine equipment, preparing patients for imaging procedures, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate advanced nuclear medicine equipment such as gamma cameras and PET scanners to produce accurate images.
  • Prepare patients for imaging by administering medications and positioning them correctly.
  • Maintain knowledge of radiation safety protocols and adhere to strict guidelines.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A tertiary qualification in Nuclear Medicine or a related field.
  • Registration with the relevant health practitioner agency.
  • A current diagnostic CT licence.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
