Architect AI Systems from Scratch

This is an opportunity to conceptualize, design and implement a cutting-edge ML system, develop and test neural networks optimized for edge computing environments, solve real-world problems using sensor-derived data, work on a product that blends AI and hardware solutions, and contribute to the development of the roadmap with the founding team.

The current system is a proof of concept, but it won't scale. We need someone who can come in and rethink the entire AI architecture, working from first principles to build something efficient and production-ready.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Create and train custom deep learning models (ideally CNNs for vision)
  • Design AI systems for embedded and edge environments
  • Mentor junior teams and uplift their skills

Requirements:

  • Strong experience building and training custom deep learning models
  • Proficiency in Python, PyTorch or TensorFlow
  • Experience designing AI systems for edge environments
  • Bonus: Experience with thermal, IR or non-RGB sensors
