About this role

We are seeking a skilled Garden Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a Garden Maintenance Specialist, you will take pride in your work, backed by a strong foundation in horticulture and garden maintenance. With reliability and expertise, you will maintain vibrant, healthy grounds that always look their best.

You should have a ChemCERT and at least 1 year's experience in a similar role. As a team player, you will pitch in when needed and demonstrate a keen eye for detail with a practical approach to solving problems.

As a safety-conscious individual, you are committed to keeping yourself, your team, and the public safe. A full driver's license is required.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and applying pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers
  • Applying chemicals for weed control and eradication
  • Operating and maintaining spray equipment following safety standards
  • Keeping accurate records of chemical applications and ensuring compliance with regulations
  • Identifying and reporting weed infestations
  • Removing weeds mechanically when necessary
  • Conducting routine litter clean-up and reporting any damage or issues
