Business Financial Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Leading a team of finance professionals in delivering exceptional support to our businesses
- Overseeing the month-end process, including review of balance sheet reconciliations to ensure timely delivery
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver financial reporting requirements
- Oversight of transactional accounting functions, including AP/AR/Payroll/Banking
- Compliance reporting, including GST and income tax
- Maintenance of banking relationships
- Management of financial systems
- Driving process improvements through end-to-end process reviews
- Integrating two finance teams into a unified shared services function
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- CA or CPA qualification (Big 4 background advantageous)
- Demonstrable experience in improving processes and developing control frameworks
- Strong leadership capabilities and the ability to boost morale in the team
- Ability to hit the ground running and start adding value immediately
