Desktop Home Assessment Manager

As a Team Leader, you will oversee the Desktop Home Assessing team. Your team conducts virtual assessments of impacted properties, validating costs, ensuring high accuracy, and managing claims from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities- Drive company values by embedding principles that promote accountability and transparency.
- Develop commercial acumen by creating an operational setting that connects people to strategy delivery and risk management.
- Manage complexity by identifying opportunities to improve operating rhythms that integrate people, processes, and systems for customer, employee, and business success.
- Deliver execution excellence through disciplined execution, agility, and clear KPIs, accelerating delivery and eliminating rework.
- Develop team members' capabilities, fostering sustainable growth through coaching and continuous improvement.
- Coach team members in assessment techniques, cost validation, compliance, project coordination, and software usage.
- Provide constructive feedback for continuous improvement and increased capability.
- Operate within and improve the Home Claims Operating Model using operational reporting and analytical information to inform priorities.
- Lead and inspire the team to deliver high-quality service and process adherence.
- Manage team members according to policies and employment laws, applying HR procedures.
- Demonstrate commitment to company values and advocate for their importance.
- Guide and support team members to enhance skills and achieve career goals.
- Handle complex claims, complaints, and matters requiring attention.
- Implement cost control strategies to meet targets.
- Refine existing cost control strategies to align with business objectives.
- Identify areas for improvement throughout the Value Chain.
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
- Provide constructive feedback to stakeholders.
- Contribute on-the-ground insights to inform strategic activities improving claims performance.
- Provide input into ongoing process and system development.
- Track, monitor, and report KPIs to ensure productivity meets expectations.
