We are seeking a Support Worker to join our team on a casual basis.

The role involves providing live-in personal care, support, and supervision to adults with an intellectual and/or psychiatric disability and children and young people under Child Protection Orders. We currently service clients in various regions across Queensland.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support throughout the day-to-day living including but not limited to housekeeping, cooking, grocery shopping, personal care, and hygiene
  • Community access and transportation
  • Completing shift notes and incident reports
  • Administering medication as directed in their care plan

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications and/or equivalent experience with a variety of clients that have different needs and goals
  • Computer literacy
  • Great written and verbal communication
  • Current Driver's License and own transport with comprehensive car insurance
  • Capacity to work flexible hours on a rotating roster across weekdays, weekends, public holidays from mornings, afternoons, and evenings
  • Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Check or willing to obtain
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificates
  • Ability to adhere to client's privacy and confidentiality
  • Willingness to travel to support client's need
