Market Data Intelligence Specialist

SIG has an opening for a Market data
- Business Analyst in our Market Data Intelligence Team.

Job Summary:
- In this role you will be responsible for managing all aspects of market data usage across the APAC trading business. You will help choose the right product, onboard the service and ensure compliance and reporting are maintained.
- Responsibilities include:
- Develop and maintain relationships with market data providers and internal stakeholders.
- Manage and negotiate contracts with market data providers.
- Coordinate new and changing market data services with technology and operations teams.
- Manage the inventory of market data obligations and usage by the business (FITS).
- Ensure compliance with market data license obligations.
- Monitor provider's notifications for any impacting changes.
- Analyze the impact of any licensing changes.
- Manage market data costs and allocation.
- Report Market data usage.
- Facilitate Market data audits.

What we're looking for:
- Experience in the financial services industry and understand market data services.
- In-depth knowledge of market data providers for all asset classes with focus on derivatives, ETFs, stock and indices.
- A background working with contracts and communicating contractual terms.
- Minimum of 4 years experience in a market data function.
- Experience with data vendors such as Bloomberg, Refinitiv, Markit and ICE.
- Experience of working in an Agile environment.Personal Attributes:

- Pro-active and highly motivated - desire to question beyond the basics, drive for problem resolution.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail are essential.
