Job Title:

Child Support Specialist

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with children and families, providing support and guidance to help them overcome challenges and achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide trauma-informed counseling to children and families, assessing their needs and developing strategies to promote safety and wellbeing.
  • Work closely with clients to identify and address risk factors, developing case plans and delivering therapeutic interventions.
  • Conduct home visits and outreach services as required, building strong relationships with clients and their communities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience working with children and families, preferably in a counseling or social work role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse client groups.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of child development principles and theories, with a commitment to promoting healthy attachment and protective behaviors.
