Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Therapist to join our team at Humanity Health Group in Cairns. As a Clinical Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing education and support to our customers and NDIS participants, inclusive of evidence-based assessment and intervention.

About the Role

This is a full-time permanent position with a salary ranging between $75,000 - $90,000 per annum + super. As a Clinical Therapist, you will be responsible for:

  1. Planning, delivering, and evaluating appropriate education and support services to customers and NDIS participants that focus on participant goal attainment.
  2. Providing support and services in collaboration with other health professionals, NDIA-related entities, and stakeholders.
  3. Providing accurate, timely, and high-quality reports that meet the needs of the target audience.
  4. Fulfilling administrative requirements, including record keeping, billing, and invoicing.
  5. Providing regular feedback to stakeholders regarding progress.
  6. Developing relationships with stakeholders to strengthen partnerships and potential work.
  7. Traineeship opportunities available.
  8. Options to work remotely, at our clinic and/or office.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  1. Completed a Psychology degree.
  2. A passion for helping and assisting a diverse range of clients.
  3. High levels of verbal and written communication skills.
  4. A satisfactory criminal record and working with children check (or state equivalent).
  5. Working with vulnerable people check (or state equivalent).
  6. A valid Australian Drivers License and access to own vehicle.

Desirable Criteria

It is highly desirable if you also have:

  1. Completed a Masters of Psychology degree.
  2. Experience working in a clinical setting with individuals who have a disability.
  3. A clear understanding of the NDIS framework, funding, services, support categories, and procedures.
  4. Evidence of completion of the NDIS mandatory orientation module.
