Senior Infrastructure Operations Manager

The Rigging Supervisor plays a critical role in the successful delivery of complex infrastructure projects. They are responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising all rigging and cranage activities.
Key Responsibilities:- Project Coordination: Plan and coordinate rigging activities across steel erection and project works.
- Inspection Management: Manage rigging inspections, registers, and site-wide lifting gear.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other supervisors to achieve key rigging outcomes.
- Work Method Development: Develop and review Work Method Statements and Job Safety Analyses.
- Site Supervision: Supervise mechanical, structural, and project works.
- Training and Competency Verification: Provide training and Verification of Competency for rigging teams.
- Lifting Equipment Maintenance: Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers for lifting equipment maintenance.
- Rigging Gear Audit: Audit rigging gear condition, storage, and spares.
- Procedure Development: Contribute to the development of rigging procedures and standards.
- Process Improvement: Identify and resolve issues in rigging processes and systems.
The ideal candidate will have advanced rigging certification, a Certificate III in Frontline Supervision, and experience working on structural and mechanical projects with heavy lift expertise.
They will also have a strong understanding of structural drawings and complex rigging scenarios, as well as proven ability to lead, train, and support rigging teams.
