Job Description: Material Coordinator/Inventory Controller
Role Overview: The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the movement and control of materials, ensuring accurate identification and recording in the system.
Main Responsibilities:
- Materials Movement Planning: Develop plans to meet business demands, considering factors such as production schedules and inventory levels.
- Inventory Control: Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records, identifying discrepancies and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Metrics and Standards: Establish and track key performance indicators to support the material management team.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with production, procurement, quality, and warehousing teams to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements:
- Inventory Management Expertise: Proven experience in inventory analysis, forecasting, and master data management.
- ERP System Proficiency: Excellent skills in using ERP systems, such as SAP, for efficient data management.
- Manufacturing Background: Previous experience in manufacturing and a similar role is desirable.
- Supply Chain Qualification: Certificate IV in Supply Chain Management or similar qualification is desirable.
Benefits and Opportunities:
This role offers a short-term casual contract initially, with potential extension and permanent employment opportunities. Australian Citizenship is required for this role.
