About the Project


 


Laing O'Rourke has been awarded the CBH Cranbrook Rail Siding & FRL Facility Upgrade Project, a key component of CBH's Program of Works to expand its rail infrastructure at key receival sites.


 


The project involves the construction of a new 2km rail siding and a fast rail loading facility, including the construction of six large grain silos, a bucket elevator, and a train loading facility, along with associated structural, mechanical, and electrical scope.


 


About the Role


 


We are seeking skilled civil/rail labourers to join our team on the Cranbrook Project. This is a DIDO role with a 10:4 roster, offering attractive rates and conditions.


 


About You


 


We are looking for safety-conscious individuals with a team-centric attitude and experience in performing duties such as plate compacting, dewatering pump setup, general site housekeeping, refuelling, star picket flagging, temp fencing, work area setup, and site signage.


 


To be considered for this role, you will need to meet the following essential criteria:



  • Unrestricted Australian Working Rights
  • WA Construction White card
  • A valid HR driver's licence (or equivalent)
  • Demonstrate experience working in the civil construction industry - minimum 2 years.
  • Demonstrate ability to perform duties maintaining high standards in both safety and quality.
  • A valid RIW card would be advantageous, but not essential.

 


As part of the recruitment process, suitable applicants will be required to complete pre-employment medical testing, drug & alcohol screening, and criminal history check.
