Workplace Injury Prevention and Rehabilitation Solutions Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist or Exercise Physiologist to deliver workplace injury prevention and rehabilitation solutions that enable individuals and organisations to achieve their potential.

The successful candidate will utilise their specialist knowledge and skills to assist people to return to meaningful engagement in occupations, evaluate the treatment and/or rehabilitation needs of workers who have been involved in a work-related or non-work-related injury or illness, and help clients identify future employment or training options by reviewing their transferable skills, qualifications and interests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct functional capacity evaluations, worksite, ergonomic or activities of daily living assessments to determine the individual's abilities and limitations.
  • Develop and implement effective case management plans to plan, coordinate and monitor your client's progress toward their return to work goal.
  • Engage with key stakeholders and build strong relationships to facilitate the achievement of business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Professional registration with AHPRA, ESSA (AEP)
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field
  • A current Working with Children Check
  • Willingness to undergo a National Criminal History Check upon successful application
