Job Opportunity: After Hours Manager
Mater Private Hospital Townsville is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to take on a challenging role as After Hours Nurse Manager.
This casual opportunity requires flexibility to work across various shifts, with a focus on night shifts from 21:30 - 07:30. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills and attention to detail, enabling them to effectively manage the daily operation of the team.
The After Hours Nurse Manager will be responsible for ensuring patient outcomes, providing leadership and oversight to clinical areas outside business hours, and maintaining the safe and efficient operation of the facility after hours.
About the Role:
- Lead and manage the team during off-peak hours
- Ensure patient safety and satisfaction
- Develop and implement strategies for efficient clinical operations
- Maintain open communication channels with staff and management
Responsibilities:
- Implement effective patient care practices to ensure positive patient outcomes
- Supervise and coordinate the work of clinical staff during off-peak hours
- Develop and maintain policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination
