Job Opportunity

The role of a Learning and Development Specialist is to design, implement, and evaluate training programs that meet the needs of an organization.

This includes planning, preparing, delivering, and ensuring consistency of training content and delivery throughout the organization. The specialist will be responsible for managing a program of training through a combination of administrative, classroom-based, on-the-job training, and operational functions to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate the appropriateness and effectiveness of training programs
  • Develop curriculum, course content, and delivery methodology
  • Lead stakeholder engagement and consultation to meet diverse expectations and demands
  • Manage on-the-job team coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback
  • Monitor the quality of training preparation, delivery, and assessment
  • Design and facilitate various training programs

Requirements:

  • Leadership experience and commitment to driving customer-centric service culture
  • Knowledge and experience of competency-based training and assessment
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to design, deliver, and evaluate training programs
  • Sound understanding of program evaluation techniques and adult learning principles
  • Relevant qualification in Training and Assessment or equivalent
  • Full driver's license
  • Willingness to complete pre-employment medical/Drug and Alcohol testing and security clearance
