Overview of the Gaming Technician Role

  • Install, maintain and service gaming equipment while adhering to statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Repair and upkeep gaming equipment.
  • Assist with relocation and installation of gaming equipment.
  • Respond to service calls in a timely manner.
  • Support denominational and game conversions.
  • Accurately complete maintenance reports and logs.
Requirements:
  • Trade certificate or Cert 3 in electronics is mandatory.
  • Previous experience operating and maintaining gaming equipment/systems is essential.
  • Skilled in using electronic test equipment for electronic gaming machines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required for teamwork.
  • Flexibility is necessary for rotating roster shifts across a 24/7 environment.
