Job Overview

This role plays a critical part in safeguarding millions of individuals and businesses worldwide by working closely with stakeholders to understand their technology roadmap.

The Business Information Security Officer team acts as the primary interface between stakeholders and the global security organisation, managing relationships to deliver on our cybersecurity strategy.

This role works with teams to identify and manage cybersecurity risk areas such as vulnerabilities and control deficiencies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive our global cybersecurity strategy with local stakeholder groups including IT, Legal, Risk Management, and client-facing teams.
  • Assist internal teams with navigating various security assessment processes and provide guidance and support.
  • Identify and manage information security risk areas, eg: vulnerabilities, control deficiencies, etc.
  • Manage and deliver planned projects and risk reduction initiatives from gathering business requirements to working with technical teams, testing and rolling out changes.
  • Contribute to Global workstreams to uplift the security posture for all by working with other BISO and CISO teams.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar cybersecurity role working with stakeholders (1 to 3 years).
  • Easily communicate and explain cybersecurity principles to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Take data and translate into a relatable form to use with teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Enjoy helping people with problem solving and customer service outlook.
  • Ability to manage workload and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Project management skills.
  • Experience working in a distributed team is advantageous.
