Job Title: Support Professional

The role of a Support Worker is to provide care and support to individuals with disabilities. This involves delivering high-quality services, assisting clients with daily living activities, promoting integration, and collaborating with a team to develop and implement plans.

The ideal candidate will possess a qualification in Community Services or equivalent, have experience, and be willing to learn on the job. They must also be physically fit for manual handling, available to work various shifts, including nights and weekends.

The successful applicant will be passionate about human rights, empathetic, and have excellent communication skills. They will also be an enthusiastic team player, eager to collaborate and inspire others.

This is a casual position with potential for growth into a permanent part-time role for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivering quality services to customers with disabilities.
  • Assisting clients in their daily living activities, such as personal care and mobility.
  • Promoting integration and supporting clients in accessing social and recreational activities.
  • Collaborating with a team to develop and implement individualised plans.
  • Encouraging independence and empowering clients to achieve their goals.
About You:
  • Certificate III in Community Services or equivalent preferred or willingness to obtain.
  • 6 months experience required for candidates ready to learn on the job.
  • Physically fit for manual handling.
  • Available to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends.
  • Hold qualifications, certifications, and licenses relevant to the role.
