About the Role

Catholic Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Community Support Worker to join our team of carers. As a Community Support Worker, you will be working in your local area, providing high-quality, personalized care to our valued clients in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Domestic Assistance/Housekeeping: cleaning bathroom, kitchen, vacuuming, mopping, ironing, and other household tasks
  • Meal preparation: cooking and serving meals to clients
  • Social assistance: providing companionship and social interaction to clients
  • Transportation: driving clients to appointments and shopping
  • Personal care: assisting with showering, grooming, and toileting (for those with a Certificate III in Aged Care or above)
Requirements
  • Australian driver's license and a reliable insured motor vehicle
  • A warm and approachable personality
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
  • Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent (advantage but not essential)
