Roastery Assistant Role Overview

Our company is seeking a skilled Roastery Assistant to join our team in Sydney. As a Roastery Assistant, you will be responsible for packing orders, maintaining the roastery, and making deliveries.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain insights into coffee production and develop their knowledge along the way. They will work closely with our team to ensure efficient logistics, safe handling, and great communication.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Pack and prepare customer orders for dispatch efficiently.
  • Gain entry-level roasting fundamentals with comprehensive training and support provided.
  • Drive and deliver beans to customers across Sydney, ensuring timely delivery and exceptional service.
  • Maintain meticulous hygiene standards in the roastery and warehouse at all times.
  • Support daily roastery operations to meet production targets and maintain high-quality standards.
Requirements:
  • A friendly and approachable manner, essential for building strong relationships with customers.
  • A strong work ethic and willingness to learn new systems and processes.
  • A full driver's license and previous experience in a roastery, distribution, warehouse, or barista environment would be beneficial.
