Job Description:

Family Preservation and Reunification Practitioner plays a pivotal role in delivering specialized family services. Working closely with families, you will provide expert guidance and support to help them navigate complex challenges.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide assessment and intervention services that lead to improved outcomes for children, focusing on safety and stability within families.
  • Coordinate and facilitate case work using the Best Interest Case Practice Framework and Response Practice Modules and Elements.
  • Develop and implement tailored service plans to meet the unique needs of each family.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Professional qualification in Social Work, Welfare, or relevant tertiary study.
  • Minimum 2 years experience working in child protection or family services sectors as a practitioner or similar role.
  • Advanced knowledge of theories, intervention approaches, and understanding of family breakdown, child safety, and child development.
  • Understanding of trauma's impacts on children and adults, along with experience in applying effective approaches for working with trauma-affected individuals.
