Overview:

We are seeking an experienced audit professional to lead our assurance services in a second line of defence role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver annual assurance plans for core business units
  • Evaluate key business controls as a dedicated second line of defence function
  • Apply knowledge of audits and assurance to review controls and deliver assigned reviews
  • Document findings and collaborate with stakeholders
  • Maintain relationships with risk, compliance, and audit teams

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of hands-on assurance experience in banking or professional services in Australia or overseas
  • Effective testing plans, scopes, reports, and review leadership skills
  • Experience in developing and implementing risk and compliance frameworks for large organisations
  • Ability to present to executives and committees
  • Updated understanding of regulatory landscapes in Australian banks

Desirable Qualifications: CA/CPA, CIA, CISA, CFA, FRM, MBA.
