Conflict Resolution Specialist

We are seeking ambitious legal professionals looking for a challenging career path to utilize their skill set in a strategic and commercial setting.

The Conflict Team plays a key role in the development and shaping of our firm's strategy globally by collaborating with Sector Lead Partners, Regional/Global Heads of Practice, and Business Development to ensure that any new instructions comply with our professional obligations under the applicable Solicitors Conduct Rules and are a commercial fit for us.

Some key responsibilities include:

  • advising on the resolution of complex legal conflicts and liaising with partners and staff in relation to conflicts issues;
  • ensuring compliance with global sanctions and Anti-Money Laundering obligations;
  • reviewing, drafting, and advising on conflict provisions in client agreements including panel arrangements.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • admitted to practice as a solicitor (in any area of law) in Australia or another jurisdiction where we operate;
  • 3+ years' post admission experience with excellent research, technical, and analytical skills;
  • a proactive approach with the ability to adapt to competing demands in a fast-paced environment;
  • a desire to work outside of traditional private practice in an alternative legal career;
  • excellent communication skills and the ability to demonstrate collegiality within a team;
Key Requirements
  • Excellent knowledge of global sanctions and Anti-Money Laundering regulations;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment;
